Happy Birthday Achille!!

Their handsome boy, Achille, has a birthday today and I will always take advantage of an opportunity to share pictures of the cute little squish!

Joyia is my office mate and one of my best friends.

When she and Carlo went on a vacation a few years ago I told her she better come back pregnant! Spoiler alert: she did!!

Joyia Inspirational Jewelry is a family affair so Joyia was surrounded by friends and family pretty much 24/7 for her entire pregnancy, for better or worse ;)

We were all convinced that she was having a girl. So when we found out she was going to have a boy, Joyia wasn’t prepared with names. Kevin suggested Zartorious...crazy hubby of mine. In turn Joyia gave Kevin the nickname Uncle Cletius - an equally awful southern name.

Achille and my younger nephew, Connor, are big buddies. They had a great time together over Christmas while my family was visiting. Our two families are amidst plans for a group trip to our family cabin in Kentucky this October.

Achille can rock a pair of sunglasses better than anyone I know..

He gives great kisses..

He's a total ham...

He grows cuter every year (those curls, am I right?!!) ...

and he is an absolute love bug!!

We are so grateful to be a part of Achille's family and honored to document his growth along the way.

I'm so excited to meet the young man he will become.

His star shines so bright, it's bound to light up the sky.

Achille is a bit of a celebrity. He's been the central model for every Joyia Inspirational Jewelry advertisement since he was born. If you've been to the airport or flipped thorough a St. Croix This Week you've probably seen him.
