I believe that every wedding has a story to be told. And each story is different. A wedding is a momentous occasion - the biggest day of your life. The flood of emotions that come from all the preparation and anticipation are almost too much to express. You are making plans that will change your life as you know it forever. It's so grand and amazing that all you can do is celebrate.

As young women, we start dreaming about our weddings as we watch Cinderella as little girls. Once Prince Charming sweeps us off our feet, we find inspiration from our years of day dreaming and set out to create our perfect day. Every detail will be breath-taking. Every moment will be thrilling and romantic. We spend our entire lives dreaming about our wedding day. But when that day finally arrives, it all goes by so fast. We need some tangible evidence of the love, excitement and happiness we felt on that day.

I have found photography to be the lasting proof we need. We all know that "a picture's worth a thousand words." With a wedding, it's worth so much more. We work so hard to find the perfect gown, the most beautiful locations and the people that will complete our day. We spend months deciding on the ceremony programs and table arrangements. Every little detail is so precise but still so unique to our tastes and desires. The wedding photography should be the same way.

Rather than generating stiff and commonplace images so often seen in wedding photography, I want to personalize your coverage to your individual preference. Instead of working from a script, I like to mix traditional, illustrative and photojournalistic styles to create the most suitable coverage for your wedding day. I work with my couples to find exactly what they're looking for and customize the coverage so that it is an extension of all the other decisions they've made. Some of my couples are very traditional; some are anything but. I want to work with you to create the images that you've dreamed of since you were a child.

It is my goal for you to look at your wedding album time and time again, not store it in a closet, only to be brought out at anniversaries. Every time you look at your photography, I want you to experience the jitters you felt just before you walked down the aisle, the love you felt when you said your vows, and the thrill of hearing your announcement as Mr. and Mrs. for the first time. You should be able to reflect on your wedding adventure as you turn each page of your album.

In the end, once your story has been told - the glass slipper fits, you dance at the ball and ride away in your coach - all that remains from your fairy tale day is your rings, Prince Charming and your photography.
