Nick proposed to Aimeé during Poplarville, Mississippi's Blueberry Festival, held two blocks from Nick's grandfathers beautiful home. It is a time when his family gathers to enjoy the local blueberries and the company of a loving family. Aimeé, mesmerized by a particularly stunning flower in the backyard, was surprised to turn and see Nick kneeling in front of her. He proposed, she said yes and his entire family came together that night to celebrate Aimeé & Nick.

With Nick & Aimeé moving to Saint Croix to start their new life together, it was imperative to Aimeé that she find the perfect venue to show friends and family their island home. In Aimeé's own words, "The King House is a perfect combination of old school elegant Caribbean architecture with modern amenities. It also has a large lawn that leads down to the beach and I wanted to be oustide and as as close to the beach as I could be." The wedding was stunning and it was wonderful to see family and friends, old and new.

Welcome Aimeé & Nick! We couldn't be happier to have both of you on island, and can't wait to see all of the adventures ahead of you. Enjoy the beach!
